Katie's passing is mourned by her large and loving family, her many dear friends and her very large family at the Chicago Bears.
She worked for the Bears for the past 22 years, a career highlighted by her being named the first recipient of The Virginia Award, given to a staff member who demonstrates the characteristics and values of Virginia Halas McCaskey: grace, humility, loyalty and dedication.
Katie lived a life anchored in gratitude which she shared with all those around her each day through her actions and words.
We are forever thankful for all she brought to our lives.
