Events | Remembering Nancy

Nancy O'Connell is mourned by her loving family, her cherished friends and her family of friends at the Chicago Bears.

Nancy was a member of the Bears Care Gala Committee for almost 15 years. A cancer survivor herself, she was passionate about paying it forward to others going through their own cancer battles. This passion is what drove her to get involved with Bears Care and to support the Gala which raises funds for women's cancer research and treatment programs in Chicago.

Nancy was a practicing ergonomist and when she wasn't working or serving others, she lived her life to the fullest with her husband, daughters and five grandchildren.

We are forever grateful for all of her support.

Your donation in Nancy's honor will support Bears Care, the charitable arm of the Chicago Bears. Bears Care is committed to improving the quality of life for people in the Chicagoland community though investments in targeted programs supporting education, youth athletics and medical research and health awareness programs focusing on breast and ovarian cancer.
