The Foundation for Delaware County 
The Foundation for Delaware County is a community foundation dedicated to improving the health and well-being of all residents. We bring together funders, nonprofits, businesses, and elected officials to address critical community challenges. From access to healthcare and affordable housing to maternal health, the environment, education, and food security, we mobilize resources and respond to emerging needs and crises. The Foundation partners with businesses, individuals, families, and organizations to create customized charitable funds, including donor-advised, field of interest, scholarship, and designated funds, that support meaningful, lasting impact.

Riddle Hospital Emergency Department
Riddle Hospital Emergency Department is a designated STEMI and Stroke Center, proudly serving the community with expert, compassionate care. Since May 2025, the department has seen a 52% increase in average daily volume and responded by increasing staffing by 40%, all while maintaining an impressive 0% first-year turnover since last fiscal year. The resilient team rose to the challenge, focusing on quality metrics and delivering exceptional care in a high intensity environment. With a strong team dynamic and a welcoming, community-centered atmosphere, Riddle Hospital Emergency Department stands ready when every second counts. 

Eric B. Smith, MD

Dr. Smith is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with the Rothman Orthopaedics specializing in hip and knee arthroplasty and serves as Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University. Born at Lankenau and a long-standing member of the Main Line Health community, he joined Riddle Hospital 18 years ago helping to make a true Center of Orthopaedic Excellence.  Serving as the Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery for the past decade, he has led service-line development, quality and safety initiatives, and mentorship programs, strengthening Riddle’s orthopaedic care and academic mission.
