For Such a Time as This: Rising to the Moment, Shaping the Jewish Future

Melton+ presents Rabbi Dr. Elliot J. Cosgrove, Senior Rabbi of Park Avenue Synagogue, for an interactive conversation on the themes of his new book, For Such a Time as This: On Being Jewish Today. At a moment when Jewish identity is being tested in unprecedented ways, Rabbi Cosgrove offers a compelling exploration of how history shapes our present, how resilience can counter rising antisemitism, and how Jewish tradition provides both strength and meaning in uncertain times.

Through a thought-provoking discussion, Rabbi Cosgrove will examine the evolving challenges and opportunities facing Jewish communities today, urging us to reflect on what it means to be Jewish in a rapidly changing world. Whether you are deeply engaged in Jewish life or seeking a renewed sense of connection, this session will offer insight, inspiration, and a call to action for all who care about the Jewish future.

We strive to ensure access and meaningful participation by all. As such, this program will have closed captioning.
