Rules:

The Queen of Hearts Raffle is a weekly virtual game where participants purchase tickets for a chance to win a jackpot. Half of the jackpot goes to the winner, and the other half supports Holy Family Catholic Academy (HFCA). Participants must be 21 or older, and the game follows legal and tax regulations.

How to Play:

1. HFCA uses an online raffle board with 54 spaces for playing cards, including two jokers. Players choose a number between 1 and 54 at the time of purchase.

2. Raffle tickets, priced at $5 each, must be bought before 3:00 PM on the drawing date through the HFCA website. Each ticket specifies a card number (#1 - 54) to be revealed if drawn.

3. Drawings occur every Thursday at 3:00 PM. If the revealed card is the Queen of Hearts, the ticket holder wins 50% of the jackpot. (See Jackpot defined below.)

Ticket Details:

• Purchased tickets are valid for one week only and do not carry over.

• Tickets may be bought online with a credit card.

• Purchasers may elect to enter every future drawing automatically.
• Purchasers may choose to have their card slots assigned randomly or manually choose a card number. 

• Only one person and name per ticket.

• Tickets must be purchased before 3:00 PM on the drawing date.

• A registration Confirmation and Receipt will be generated with each purchase and emailed documenting the raffle tickets purchased and the number of the card(s) purchased either randomly generated or individually chosen.

Jackpot and Prizes:

- The jackpot total will be net of administrative costs associated with running the game including but not limited to the credit card financing charges. Note that the total jackpot reflected on the board is the gross amount of tickets purchased.

- The jackpot accumulates weekly until the Queen of Hearts is drawn.

- If a Joker is drawn, the winner receives $100; if any other Queen is drawn, the winner receives $250. The remaining pot rolls over.

Taxes and Reporting:

- Winners are responsible for taxes and must complete the required documents.

- Withholding may apply, and winnings are distributed after document completion, taking up to two weeks.

General Terms and Conditions:

- Participants must be 21 or older.

- HFCA and Holy Family Parish employees are eligible to play.

- The raffle complies with legal requirements.

- HFCA can amend rules and change drawing dates or times as needed.

Disclaimer and Release:

- HFCA is not responsible for lost, late, or incomplete entries.

- Participants release HFCA from claims related to the raffle.

- Disputes are resolved individually, and damages are limited to actual expenses.
