Bill Kelly lived a life of service. He gave to his community as a leader in scouts and as an Assistant State's Attorney for Cook County. He served his country for 32 years in the U.S. Army Reserves, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. He deployed three times in support of the Global War on Terror and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal. His life was cut short in October of 2021. The family and friends of Bill Kelly would like to continue his life of service with the first annual Bill Kelly Memorial Golf Outing. We have partnered with Loyola Academy to ensure that all proceeds from this outing will benefit The William B. Kelly '81 Scholarship fund at Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Illinois. Loyola has a special place in the hearts of the Kellys, as it is where Bill and his five children attended high school. This scholarship will have a profound impact on a Loyola Academy student, and will be awarded annually to a child of a public servant.
