In Memory of Dr. James Dargin
Honoring a Legacy of Compassion, Innovation, and Excellence
This conference proudly bears the name of Dr. James Dargin, a deeply respected physician, educator, and mentor whose sudden passing in 2021 left a lasting void in the medical community.
Dr. Dargin held several prominent roles at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center and served as Associate Medical Director at Boston MedFlight, where he was instrumental in advancing critical care transport. As one of the region’s earliest dual-trained physicians in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Medicine, he helped shape a new era of interdisciplinary care.
Known not only for his clinical brilliance but also for his unwavering compassion and generosity, Dr. Dargin’s impact continues to resonate across Boston MedFlight and throughout Greater Boston’s medical institutions.
We dedicate this event to his memory—with gratitude for his leadership, inspiration, and enduring legacy.
