Anjelica Scannura is a 2025 Just For Laughs New Face of Stand-Up and the first Canadian woman to win the Boston Comedy Festival. She also won the Jersey City Comedy Festival and has performed on iconic stages including Massey Hall and The Wilbur. Her debut comedy EP with JFL Originals airs on SiriusXM, with a JFL Live Sessions recording set for release later this year. She will be featured as part of The New Wave of Stand-Up at JFL Vancouver 2026. Anjelica has opened for Shane Gillis, Joe List, Stavros Halkias, Rachel Feinstein, Tom Green, Jay Pharoah, and Cipha Sounds. On screen, she?s appeared in Disney?s Camp Rock and Netflix?s Little Italy. Her Don?t Tell Comedy and Just For Laughs New Faces sets are available online, and she recently appeared on Roast Battle Canada at JFL Montreal.
