Game 1: DII Consolation Game 2: DII Championship The Basketball Hall of Fame and Chris Paul Family Foundation present the HBCU Basketball Event, December 4 and 5, 2026, at CareFirst Arena in Washington, DC! This two day event features two exciting brackets showcasing outstanding talent from Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Division I teams include Howard, Tennessee State, Florida A&M, Hampton, Grambling State, and Norfolk State. Division II teams include Clark Atlanta, Winston-Salem State, Virginia State, and West Virginia State. More than basketball, this event celebrates HBCU culture, school pride, and the impact of these institutions on higher education and athletics.
