Keren Alpert serves as the site director and an instructor for the Melton School in Naples, Florida. Keren is the Director of Lifelong Learning at Temple Shalom in Naples. Keren has also served as Director of Education and Youth at congregations in Michigan and Oklahoma. She also was a Regional Educator for the Union for Reform Judaism. In addition, she was a long-time Melton instructor for the Jewish Federation of Metro Detroit. Keren loves teaching all learners from babies to bubbes. She particularly enjoys text-based study and is a regular Torah and Haftarah chanter at her Temple. Keren is an old time camp songleader (she met her husband Ted at Greene Family Camp in Bruceville, Texas) and continues to sing regularly as well as lead Israeli dance. Keren and Ted are the parents of three daughters.
