Live from Israel: The Local Discourse on What Matters to Israelis Today

While Israel seems to be at the center of the global conversation, there are also critical conversations happening within Israeli society today that get far less attention in the international media. In this eye-opening new program from Israeli field educator Daniella Gefen, we’ll take a look at some of the most challenging debates happening in Israel today. We’ll discuss topics like ultra-religious military service, the cost of life in Israel’s war with Hamas, what to do about the growing threat of Iran, how to engage with potential new allies in Saudi Arabia, and more. This class will be designed around what is happening Israel right when the class is taking place, so topics may change. We hope you can join us for an insightful perspective about the discourse happening in Israel right now.

We strive to ensure access and meaningful participation by all. As such, this program will have closed captioning.
