WHAT IS THE QUEEN OF HEARTS RAFFLE?
The Queen of Hearts Raffle is a 50/50 progressive virtual raffle with 50% of the jackpot going to the winner and 50% benefiting Loyola Academy's tuition assistance program.
HOW DO YOU PLAY QUEEN OF HEARTS?
The Raffle Board consists of a full standard deck of cards plus 2 Jokers. Each card is numbered 1 – 54. The ticket purchaser will choose a number at the time of purchase between 1 and 54, or they can have the computer select the Card Slot number. All ticket purchasers must provide first name, last name (no nicknames), telephone number, and email. There can be only one name per ticket. If the ticket is not filled out completely and correctly, the tickets will be invalid and discarded.
DRAWING
One ticket will be automatically selected at random. Once a ticket is drawn, the card on the Raffle Board that corresponds to the number selected on the ticket will be turned over. If the Queen of Hearts is turned over, the winning ticket holder will receive 50% of the pot. Other payouts include:
$500 if you pick a Joker AND all cards will be flipped face-down and the board will be reset
$250 if you pick the Ace of Spades
$100 if your ticket is drawn and it is NOT the Queen of Hearts or any of the above
If the card flipped is any card other than the Queen of Hearts, all purchased tickets will be cleared, the jackpot continues to build and new tickets will be sold for the following weekly drawing. The total prize pool will continue to accumulate weekly until the Queen of Hearts card is drawn. The jackpot amount, based on ticket sales, will be updated and displayed on the ticket website.
